JiWire.com locates and maps WiFi access points all over the world. The directory lists almost 50,000 hotspots -- 850 in the Bay Area alone. It also provides information on wireless Internet providers. For now, less than 10% of the sites listed offer free Internet connections, but the key is knowing where to look. "You are going to likely find something near you," said David Blumenfeld of JiWire.
