HTML Developer

JiWire is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Web Developer to meet the demand of our rapidly growing business. The ideal candidate must be able to work well in a team environment as well as take on individual tasks and projects. As a vital member of the team, s/he must be able to coordinate with several resources and departments to ensure work is done in a timely manner and meets the highest quality standards. This is a position that has great opportunities to learn and grow in the company.

Responsibilities:
• Update and maintain functionality and content of main site
• Turn graphical comps into full-fledged website layouts
• Work closely with the engineering team to accomplish key technical goals
• Develop ultra clean code for scalability and site optimization
• Coordinate with partners to facilitate any updates or changes they might require
• Adjust to any technical issues, finding the best possible solution
• Apply the latest Web 2.0 technologies to create a cutting-edge site experience

Requirements:
• BS/BA degree with at least 2 years of web design/development experience
• Must have solid knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript (be able to code by hand)
• Experience working with layered graphic files (e.g. Adobe Photoshop)
• Good working knowledge of DHTML/AJAX preferred
• Java/JSP, PHP and Flash experience a big plus
• Extremely detail-oriented (pixel-perfect)
• Strong teamwork skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
