Shelby Bonnie
Shelby Bonnie was a co-founder of CNET Networks and CEO from 2000 to 2006. He provided critical leadership to the organization during the downturn of 2001 to 2003. The company that emerged is a leader in the interactive content space.
Shelby also played a role as a key influencer in the industry. Under his direction, he led the advancement of online advertising with the introduction of larger ad units which are today industry standards. From 2001 to 2004, he drove awareness for the industry as Chairman of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). And most recently, Shelby was awarded the 2006 Publisher Impact Award from the IAB.
Previous to working at CNET Networks, Shelby held positions at Tiger Management and Morgan Stanley &Co.
Ralph C. Derrickson
Ralph C. Derrickson is founder of the RCollins Group, LLC a management company that specializes in early stage technology companies. Derrickson is the former managing director of venture investments at Vulcan Capital, Paul G. Allen's investment management firm headquartered in Seattle, Washington. Mr. Derrickson has more than 20 years of technology management experience in a wide range of settings including start-up, interim management, and re-structuring situations. Prior to Vulcan Capital he was interim CEO of Metricom, Inc. an early leader in broadband wireless communications. Mr. Derrickson was also a founding partner of Watershed Capital, a private equity investment management company established 1998. Prior to Watershed, Mr. Derrickson managed venture investments at Vulcan Ventures. He served as vice president of product development at Starwave Corporation, one of the pioneers of the Internet. Earlier, Mr. Derrickson held senior management positions at NeXT Computer, Inc. and Sun Microsystems, Inc. He serves on the boards of numerous start-up technology companies. He also serves on the board of Perficient (NASDAQ-SCM: PRFT). Mr. Derrickson is active in the business and entrepreneurship programs at the University of Washington and is a member of the advisory board of the Center for Technology Entrepreneurship. He also serves on the board of the Northwest Entrepreneur Network (NWEN).
Bjarne Jensen
Mr. Jensen is the founder and CEO of F/X Communications (www.fx.dk), a privately-held company specializing in the development of IP-based networking software. His company is recognized as a global leader in IPSec VPN technology. F/X's Deep Packet Inspection Firewall, with support for both Windows and Linux, is second to none in the industry.
Prior to starting F/X Communications, Jensen spent six years at the Danish company DigiQuant (later Intec), where he played a key-role in the development of a distributed network access platform deployed by many of Europe's largest ISPs and telecommunication companies. Boosted by a US$ 80 million venture-capital investment in 1996, DigiQuant transformed into a global market leader in centralized billing solutions.
In 1996, Jensen founded F/X Communications, whose first product was a secure Internet dial-up program deployed in millions of ATM machines and adopted by many enterprise customers. From this success, Jensen and his team expanded into the IT security sector, with focus on VPN and Firewall solutions.
Craig Lurey
As former CTO of JiWire, Craig Lurey lead the development team and technical infrastructure. Prior to joining JiWire, Lurey founded Apollo Solutions, a company focused on delivering supply chain management software to the computer reseller industry. Apollo Solutions was acquired by CNET Networks in June 2000, where Lurey played a leading role in the launch of CNET's ChannelOnline ASP service. Before starting Apollo Solutions, Lurey developed software for Motorola's Japanese CDMA infrastructure. Craig holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Iowa State University.
